Iphone OS 4.0 is out but please do read the reminders here first before updating.

1. DO NOT UPDATE to iOS 4.0 if you need the jailbreak and the unlock. Updating to iOS 4.0 will update baseband to 5.13.04 thus you might lose the ability to unock in the future.

2. WAIT for the devteam's official release of the jailbreak tool. redsnow 09-5 might not be compatible with the official IOS 4.0 eventhough it worked on iOS 4.0 GM.

I'm not a big Apple fan, but I do use iPhone since its really a good phone - with all the apps and stuff that you can do with it. But will I actually buy the iPad? Of course NOT! When they first released the iPhone, it wasn't really that good since it not in 3G. I'm sure they'll release another iPad maybe next year with a camera. Why would anyone buy an iPad now? It DOESN'T have a camera. Maybe `coz they're UBER rich and just wanted to be updated with the latest gadget. But money-wise, it's not worth it! I mean now of course.

What I would really buy (if I have the money for it, lmao) is the HP Slate. It runs in Win7 OS (which has a great feedback since its release) and has a USB port (talk about expanding your memory up to 500GB+) - and yes, iPad doesn't have that. In addition to this, Slate has two cameras! Yeah, TWO cameras (even the infamous iPhone 3Gs doesn't have that).

By the way, why didn't they put in a much more reliable OS in the iPad? Like the OSX perhaps? Putting in the iPhone OS 3.2 in there is like having a HUGE iPhone that doesn't even receive calls (unless connected to a wifi). Com`on Jobs! I know you can do better! Tell me that you're gonna release something better than this 1st Gen iPad.

Before the election day (to which we don't really care since we aren't voting anyway), we went to Summit Ridge Tagaytay to spend Mother's Day. I love the place since it's peaceful and spacey. For it to be much more better, there's a wifi - feel at home! Of course we bought our laptops. Its the bonding session of the family - watching TV + facebook-ing + youtube-ing + coffee + dessert. At home, we have separate rooms so we don't bond that much. The only problem is that the speed isn't the same compared to what we have. Oh well! I guess you can't really have it all.

Another modus operandi to crime.

Dear all,

I cannot stop myself from sharing this with all of you.

Its all started when I received a call from someone claiming that he was from Maxis and he asked me to shutdown my phone for 2 hours for 3g update to take place. As I was rushing for a meeting, I did not question and shutdown my cell phone.

After 45 minutes I felt very suspicious since the caller did not even introduce his name. I quickly turned on my cell phone and I received several calls from my family members and the others were from the number that had called me earlier - 3954380.

I called my parents and I was shocked that they sounded very worried asking me whether I am safe. My parents told me that they had received a call from someone claiming that they had me with them and asking for money to let me free. The call was so real and my parents even heard 'my voice' crying out loud asking for help. My parent was at the bank waiting for next call to proceed for money transfer. I told my parents that I am safe and asked them to lodge a police report.

Right after that I received another call from the guy asking me to shutdown my cell phone for another 1 hour which I refused to do and hung up. They keep calling my cell phone until the battery had run down. I myself lodged a police report and I was informed by the officer that there were many such scams reported. MOST of the cases reported that the victim had already transferred the money! And it is impossible to get back the money.

Be careful as this kind of scam might happened to any of us!!! Those guys are so professional and very convincing during calls. If you are asked to shut down your cell phone for updates by the service provider, ASK AROUND! Your family or friends might receive the same call.

It's so freaking frustrating that some sites ask for payment for this service. Some of the sites I saw are below. They are not suppose to do this. Unlocking and jailbreaking are FREE! The developers of blackra1n, redsn0w, etc are not asking for any payment for it. Some noobie guy/girl would actually pay for it.

Just note that UNLOCKING does not work for fw 3.1.3 w/ baseband 5.12. But jailbreak is available for 2G/3G iPhones with 3.1.3.

Here are the sites I searched (googled) that ask for payment. Dev people should sue.

After work, me and Brent went to LAX for a VIP entrance c/o Adele and Irene. It was fun though it had a lot of people in the VIP box - too many celebrity I guess, since there was an event. I didn't quite like the DJ since he kept on stopping the beat - I think I can do better (kiddin!). He is really good - if he just stop asking people to put their hands in the air (lmao). Oh yeah! Yes! I'm going back at playing RohanPH again. But not that much, compared to my time playing it before. I can't connect to our office network since it's a US line connection. I think I need to dress up my Dekan again since some of the accessories I have are still DEX. I'm going to spend a lot of money again. hahaha! Good thing LUph merged the servers now. I really do promise myself that I won't be lazy to go back to web designing/programming. By next year, i should be able to make my own layout and publish some works for themes (oh man! I think I really should be busy with that rather than playing games all the time...).

I need to kage bunshin (whatever the spelling is) myself - multiply and learn whatever the other clone learn. That would have been very helpful.

Oh yeah! One more thing! Save up money for our Hongkong on March 2010. I haven't paid for the Disneyland and hotel yet. This is really gonna cost me.

I'm not really a shop-a-holic kind of person, but of course, I love buying stuff. Who doesn't?! What I hate about shopping is that you have to be around so many people and you get tired by looking then sometimes not really getting what you really do want.

I have an officemate that sells stuff. Bags, shoes, etc. She just brings me this catalog then I ask her to get it for me. No hassle! And so far, I love the things I got :)

I'm actually saving up for November so I don't really wanna buy stuff that I don't need YET. Our router's wifi is obviously broken since I can detect my neighbor's wifi's. There's this one connection that doesn't need WEP or any key to be connected. So I just use it when ours is broken - since it works sometimes.

Here's the catch! I got a virus that I didn't know about. I noticed an iexplore.exe process running in my task manager - but I'm not using IE! And it was not only one! There was 3 of them! It's eating up my memory! No wonder my PC's running slow - Rohan and Pet Society/RC is open w/ winamp. Looks like I got it from downloading FREE softwares with CRACKS - duh! Of course you can get virus/malware/trojan from that. I just trust my Anti-virus so much!

I went ahead and researched on this malware (no wonder my anti-virus wasn't able to detect it, it wasn't a virus - IT WAS A F*ckng MALWARE!). After a few search with lots and lots of reading that took me almost 3hours, I saw this website/forums generally about PCs. They have this 8 steps on removing virus/malware/trojan. Because of too much reading, I saw the difference of these three annoying culprits! But I'm not really going to explain it here.

How was I able to remove it? The 8 steps needed 3 downloads - as I recall. They all detected something and was able to delete it. Easy as that. Whew! my computer is saved! Thanks to techspot.com - forums! To think I just formatted my PC before I got that. It was so noobie of me to think of reformatting it again just to remove that stupid malware.

ONCE AGAIN - Google is my friend... ohhhh... I stand corrected! Google is my BESTfriend!

Phone Fever

I've been a phone addict since HS. My first phone was 6150 - a much more higher model than 5110 (the unbreakable phone) and yeah! I'm actually bragging about it. Had a lot of Nokia series in my past. But you really wouldn't call yourself an addict if you stick to one brand. I've had Sony Ericsson, Samsung, Motorola, HTC, Dopod, Blackberry and LG. Here's what I have just lying around. I actually wanted to upgrade the firmware of N73, but something went wrong. Sadly, its "bricked" now. Meaning, you really have to go to Nokia Care for them to fix it. *sigh* I love these phones! They're so classic!

So far, the start of my weekend was a drag! Just went out saturday night and spent the rest of the evening at a friend's house. Then had mass on Sunday evening and ate at ATC, then drank one bottle of beer (wasn't even able to finish it). Now, back to work.

How to have Flash Player 9 and 10

For those cheaters out there! Are you tired of switching flash players from 9 - for facebook cheats then 10 for videos? I've found a way on how you can have both. Here's what you need:

Flock Browser/Internet Exporer (this will use Flash Player 10)
Firefox portable
Firefox plugins

Lets get started.

First you need to install the Firefox portable (remember the path/folder to where you've installed it)
Update your flash player to 10 (you can download the installer in adobe)
Download the plugins and extract it in FirefoxPortable\Data\plugins.

You can now use the Firefox portable for cheats, then the Flock Browser/IE for the videos or when you the game requires a FP10.

Because of typhoon PEPENG, some of our officemates (in operations), left already. Hmpf! Talk about highschool setting - where you can go home if there is a strong typhoon. Then again, of course, IT doesn't go home - rain or shine! We go to overtime even though there is a big flood (I'm over-exaggerating things!). Still, it pays.

I'm just waiting for 6am. Argh! Why is it as if the time is not running. I hate it...

Resident Evil 5 - PC Version

I've been an avid fan of Resident Evil Sequels. I've been playing Resident Evil 1- Resident Evil 4! Even the Code Veronica! When I heard that Resident Evil 5 is for PS3, I should have that unit. But since I bought one for my brother last year, I guess I just have to wait for the game. When it came out, I was too busy playing Rohan/Facebook apps. No more time to play RE5. My brother (aged 8) finished it in 2 weeks. Might have been boring! But he told me that it was actually good. All the games I've played so far was good. Since I'm going to play this one just now, I hope I won't be disappointed. Gotta love this game!
